History of the Cottage
The cottage has been in my family since January 1984 and has been sympathetically restored to maintain traditional features, white-washed with blue wooden shutters and grapevines over the veranda to offer shade. We have added AC in the saloni to help cool the house in the summer months.
The cottage is one of 12 traditional stone cottages built for 12 members of the same family in the village of Ayia Kyriaki which has a little white church named Ayia Kyriaki, 1.5km from Monemvasia. It has mountains behind and spectacular sea views from the other sides.
The cottage is a place to escape your busy lives and enjoy a true Greek village life.
